At Quick Brown Box we have a variety of print processes to suit your needs. Digital printing is available for short runs and fast turn-around. Here are the key features of each type:

Types of box printing:

Flexographic

‘Flexo’ printing is good for medium quality print and is typically used on shipping boxes. Highly suitable for repeat runs.

Lead time: 12-14 days from sign-off
Quantity: 1000 minimum
Printing Plate cost: minimum $525, depends largely on box size and print area.
Colours: suits 1-4 colours
Box styles: suits shippers, RSC, HSC

Screen Printing

The screen printing process is a reasonably simple form of printing that will give your packaging sharp, brilliant colour and a high detail finish.

Lead time: minimum 12 days
Quantity: 250 minimum
Printing Plate cost: minimum $80
Colours: suits 1-3 colours
Box styles: Die-cut, display, hinge lid, parts boxes, E-flute board.

Litho-Laminate

This procedure involves full colour off-set printing on quality paper, which is then laminated to corrugated cardboard and die cut. The result is a high gloss, photo like finish.

Lead time: minimum 14 days
Quantity: 500 minimum
Printing Plate cost: no set-up cost
Colours: full colour glossy photographic quality.
Box styles: Die-cut, display, hinge lid, parts boxes, E-flute board.
